If you added a background image to the map in the "resource" tab you can change the opacity of the tile and move the background.

Here you can upload resources (one by one or multiples at the same time).
An image resource can be an image that you will be able to use as terrain or as a background for the map (try the "opacity" feature). The text field is for the background color
A text resource is a map that can be imported.

Painting those with the stamp tool. You can move them between hexes by draging them. Drag them outside the map to remove them.

Save
You can reuse a saved map in the "resource" tab. Saving as image can take a long time.
Download:
You can share the current map as an image ot as a link. Be aware that the "As link" functionality has limitation in term of map size and content.
Share:
The "local save" and "local load" buttons use the local storage of your browser. It should not be lost even if your computer is turned off. THe "auto local save" function starts a periodic and automatic save of your map.
Select an hex and a submap before adding a link. Then, click on the arrow icon to jump to the submap.

With a premium account you can save your maps on the server and use them anywhere. This is still in beta and you might loose all of you data without warning. Make save on your computer to be safe.
Share your map online (be careful, nothing is secret once you shared it): Connect to your account first.

not currently on our roadmap. If you do want to try out TogetherJS, we'd suggest using Firefox or Chrome.
You can continue to try to use Collaboration, but you are likely to hit
lots of bugs. So be warned.
